THE hotel

Strand Hotel Fevik is more than a hotel.  Since 1937 the place has appeared as an exotic refuge in the Norwegian skerries, inviting to both recreation and adventure. The hotel has a rich history and is one of the few remaining functionalist style buildings in Norway. With the sea and soft sand dunes waiting just outside your door, this is probably the closest you can get to a Mediterranean holiday in Norway.

The hotel radiates character and quality and has always attracted people from far and wide. Several famous people have visited the hotel, contributing to exciting stories.  The author Roald Dahl was a patron for more than 30 years, together with his Oscar-awarded wife Patricia Neal.

The hotel is modern and a leading avenue for seminars and conferences, as well as a unique setting for a variety of cultural event. The hotel is being developed with passion and commitment.  Although it has been modernized in order to meet the demands of our time regarding comfort and standards, its history and traditions have all the same been carefully preserved. At Strand Hotel Fevik, you can expect good service and a wide range of experiences, where you, as our guest, are at the centre.

Welcome to a hotel experience out of the ordinary.
