Strand Hotel Fevik wants food to be an experience. We want to offer our guests the little extra that makes every stay an experience exceeding the last. This is why we have developed a food philosophy that is inspired by local history and food ingredients.

An unforgettable flavor experience rarely contains any greater secret than good ingredients, they are the most important thing a restaurant has. We prepare the food in a way that retains the very nature of the ingredients, highlighting the individual flavors and consistences of the ingredients without covering. Our menus follow the seasons. The raw materials are utilized in season when they have the best taste and quality, and are handled and cooked in a way that takes care of valuable nutrients, vitamins and minerals.

The surroundings also make a meal for something special. Restaurant Neptune is designed as a classic ballroom. With a roof as beautiful as a southern starry and winter garden, Neptune lifts the experience of a celebration or a simple meal. Here you can enjoy your food close to the sea, with a view that is just as magical all year round.
Our venerable dining room Axel Lund and Blåsalen invite you to more intimate meals in a warm and pleasant environment. A nice meal can be rounded off with a visit to our historic bar, named after one of our famous regular guests: the author Roald Dahl.

The buffet includes hot meat and fish dishes, a delicious dessert table and coffee or tea.

Shellfish soup with scallops, green oil and whipped cream with basil and vanilla

Oksefilet stuffed with truffle duxelle, blown veal breast, beef glace, celery pie, semi-dried tomato, grilled vegetable roll

Chocolate mousse on sunflower and pumpkin bottom, salty caramel ice cream and white chocolate sauce

Ceviche of cod with coriander, pomegranate, cucumber, lemon puree, avocado and crispy

Antebrat, baked sweet potato puree, sugar peas, burned vanilla, bigarate sauce, caramelized onion compote with orange and cointreau, fennel and figs

When in season, all fresh vegetables are served from Hesnes Gartneri.
The company menu can be ordered by groups of more than 10 people, no later than 7 days before arrival.
